it’s the day

I started my special day with such bleakest sight on the usual road I jogged every morning, but life has to move on and here I am at work, preparing another rush study paper for my boss who promised me a good lunch. She said she still has some big surprise for me later before COB.  And I hope it’s the espresso machine I want to have in my kitchen lol. But man, I’m getting old and my girl is insistently keeping me on-hooked with her for ultimate blessing at the church maybe next year. Birthday is like a reminder that we are still living a good life, that we are blessed to enjoy our hard work, to share our pains, to utilize our talent for the betterment of ourselves and our loved ones, to foster friendship, to praise God for all the happy moments that let us forget that this world is not that foolish place to hang out, and above all, to experience love. Yeah, I have nothing to ask for more. And you can forget I wished for an espresso machine. xD
